Jarmo - ARC2008 - Matt & Liz, Finally got back to Finland and back in the office. Have to say that it will take a long time to adjust mind for normal everyday routines, after being three weeks in a totally different world. I’m really struggling at work, still watching those great pictures of Disco Inferno arriving to St Lucia. Just wanted to send an email for thanking once again for the great trip. I really enjoyed the whole journey and we had great time over there. This is certainly something I will remember for the rest of my life, a great sailing experience. Not everybody has crossed the Atlantic. Thanks for hosting us and making it possible. Merry Christmas! - Jarmo

I loved Disco 3 - stunning - and Capri (initial inclement weather put aside!)...and even the pool dunking at the end was amusing (in retrospect!). All went far too quickly as usual.

Northy - Capri, May 2008 - Thanks for everything over the weekend. I had a great time. I reckon the Bay of Naples (with the exception of Naples itself) is a fabulous cruising area.

After all that dashing about, Vesuvius was indeed closed! There’s a car park right near the top – which we got up to - but the track up to the crater is only open from 9-5. oh well. If you get a chance to go up there, the views are simply stunning….you could also send me a photo of what the crater actually looks like!
