The Visitors Book 2007

Ladybird, ASW2007 - Hi all

Thanks for a wonderful week - truly amazing and I keep logging on to see the pictures and can't believe I was actually there. If anyone hear's about the video/DVD for Sky/EuroSports, please let me know.

Whilst it is a distant memory, I still seem to have one last bruise lingering from the last night and clonking my arm at Abras - oh happy days...

Anyway, have a large amount of photos from my unofficial task as social photographer, so once I have figured out how to attach them all onto an email, will send out - there are some lovely ones in there that keep making me chuckle, mainly the ones of Monkey and Vicky!

Take care everyone and enjoy your summers wherever you are sailing!

Jeff, ASW2007 - Hi Matt & Lizzie,

Would just like to say thanks to all for a great week in Antigua.

This was my first regatta and racing experience, but certainly won’t be my last, I learnt a lot during the week and had a really good (if somewhat painful) time!

I think everyone was gutted about missing 3rd place, but despite the 4th place, the best memory and experience of all for me was meeting and sailing with so many lovely people!

Now the bruises and cuts are fading I quite look forward to doing it again sometime!

Alan, you summed it up perfectly and I second your words and look forward to sailing with all again sometime!

Have a great summer

Alan, ASW2007 - Hi Matt, Lizzie et al,

Well said! For me, Antigua '07 was my best Regatta of six. Given the opposition and the level of our collective experience, I think we all did fantastically well and can be justifiably proud of our 4th place.

I look forward to racing with you all at future Regattas.

Cheers, Alan

Jenny & Martin, Cricket Cruise, April - Had Sky cricket score on my computer at work today.... couldn't believe they managed to lose the comp. to get the lowest score ever (Canada 46 all out). And to Aus. as well!

We had such a great time, your food was out of this world, and we almost had one to one service, I am now in deep shock having to wash up etc. I will post the curry book and a CD of our photos to you, and hopefully catch up sometime around RTIR in Cowes.

Weather here has been good, in UK terms, but not quite Antigua weather. It is predicted to be in the 70's this weekend and to prove it all the caravaners are out on the Cotswold roads.

Estelle, Heineken Regatta - Thank you so much for an excellent 2 weeks - you looked after me very well.
I am delighted with the pewter jug and will proudly show it to everyone. The solent was flat calm today - I had forgotten what flat sea looked like!!
Can't beleive that I said to Lizzie - gosh it's ONLY 17 knots now!! Will try and get fitter for another regatta - have put the half stone plus back on -couldn't be anything to do with the alcohol could it?!!

Much love to you both,

Charles, Christmas 2006 & New Year 2007 - Thank you both for making Christmas and New Year 2006/07 such a time to remember

Jess, Christmas 2006 & New Year 2007 - Thanks for an amazing 10 days. I never thought sailing could be so relaxing!! And thank you Lizzie for the fantastic food.
