After
a hard day on the water, sipping that first mouthful of beer and out comes
the Disco Visitor's Book, what better moment to sum up their Disco experience...

Drew,
ARC2006
- Thanks for everything!
First
Atlantic Crossing more to come,
see
you in Cowes
Julian,
ARC2006
- Thanks for helping me achieve the first of my "new life" ambitions.
Crossing
the Atlantic in style with great food and unlimited supply of tea.
Well
done
Alastair,
ARC2006 - Thanks
Matt & Liz for a great experience.
Best
of luck and fair winds in future.
James,
ARC2006
- Three good passages, with a new hole in the main on each leg! Fantatastic
ARC - all records broken.
The
best food ever on a yacht too!
Many
Thanks, James
Karen,
Cork Week - Just
a quick note to say thanks so much for such a fun week.
It
was great sailing and a really fun crew - so a fab holiday. Felt very
refreshed, despite all the partying!
I
hope you had a good trip back and are all set - or nearly - for Cowes.
Have
a great week, and hope to sail with you again sometime soon.
Ben,
Cork Week - Absolutely
- as usual, a fabulous experience c/o the Disco - and much looking
forward to Cowes.
Tash,
Cork Week - Was
a cracking week, loved it.
Thanks
to all of you for making it sooooooo much fun, but particularly our Mum and
Dad.
Sort
of looking forward to next week!
Penny,
Cork Week
- Yes, great
week; great weather; great sailing; great crew;
just
a bit excessive on the alcohol and partying side but back at work now to recover.
Many thanks to Matt and Lizzie. Looking forward to more of the same next week!
Rich,
Cork
Week - Thanks
for a great week on Disco, fab venue, great team and sailing!
I
found about 35 Euro of kitty money in my sailing kit so there is a round going
at Cowes for those of you that will be there (Wed/Sat), I had my arm twisted
over the weekend and I am now doing the back half of Cowes on an SB3.
Cheers Rich
Emma & Adam, ASW2006
- Just wanted to thank Matt and Lizzie for
a wonderful week in Antigua! We hope Nelson’s Ball went well!! We are now
back in London… ho hum!
Unlike
last year when we returned with hundreds of photos … this year we have a few
new catch phrases…..
Monkey:
Who Rrr U? Who Rrr U?
Games
Master Pacman ….. Good Bad or Evil?..... depends on whether it is with Princess,
Smiley or Seahag….
The
Porn star line up with …. Samper Galbraith, Henry Backhouse, Jenny Huntley,
etc.
The
only photo we have is a sunset from Shirley Heights … Bye for now!
Ben, ASW2006 - Hear, hear!
A great week (I hope that the ball last night was good, too)
- and another of our catchphrases could also help sum up the Disco experience - "Come and 'ave a go if you think [fink] you're hard enough...".
Safe flights and a safe passage to the Disco on her ship to the UK.
Ben
Bob,
ASW2006 - Thanks for
the photo, guys.
A
huge "thank you" to Matt and Liz for a great week and well done to all for
nailing a podium place
(I
hope those who stayed for the Ball did us proud !!). Regards YBBS
Kate, ASW2006 - yes indeed, a really fun week, thank you Matt & Lizzie and hope to see you
all sometime over the summer either sailing .....
or more likely drinking
somewhere ....
Kate
Tufty,
ASW2006
- Lots and lots of fun, thank you Matt and Liz...
looking
forward to catching up with everyone again soon!
Penny, ASW2006 - Matt and Lizzie: Great fun, I had a brilliant time, thank you both for making Antigua week such a fantastic experience.
Everyone: It was great to meet and to sail with you all.
Disco is truly remarkable - I'm hooked now.
Hope to see you all again either sailing or drinking somewhere.
Penny
Tim,
ASW2006-
Just a quick one to say thank you for ASW 06, really enjoyed
sailing on Disco and the racing we managed to get in.
Highlight
for me must be the kite peel and then getting praise from another boat - really
hope they send the photos though.
Back
home and dreaming of Disco, missing you already. What a great week!
Sue, ASW2006 - Enormous thanks to Lizzie and Matt for making it such a wonderful experience.
Hope the passage to the UK is smooth for both you and Disco.
Sue
Ian,
ASW2006 -
Dear Matt and Lizzie, Thank-you very, very much for a superb sailing experience.
It was everything I expected and more.
I
enjoyed myself enormously and wish I could join you for Cork week but, still
being a salary slave, I have to go back to work and start to save for the
next one.
Very best wishes for your return to the UK both to you two and the Disco.
Will
keep an eye on the Round the Island results and Cork Week. Thanks again for
a great week, sincerely with best wishes, Ian Graham
Me Ju, ASW2006 - Thank you guys. It was great fun as ever and I'm plotting my involvement in summer campaign where possible...! Safe journey home.
Mr
& Mrs Naked, Cruising The Grenadines & St Lucia
- Hi guys!
Trust you made it safely to guadaloupe. We made it home ok although had a
very bumpy ride. Something to do with the weather system dumping 70cm of snow
on NY!
Anyway,
we both just wanted to thank you both for looking afer us so well and for
making our trip so enjoyable. We had a really relaxing time and it was great
to spend some quality time with you.
Hope
you have time to catch your breath before you head back here. I think you
might have almost converted Sally to sailing too! Speak soon. Lol mr & mrs
nkd
Billy & Shazza, Cruising St Lucia & The Grenadines - Dear Matt and Liz, Thank you very much for a very
