'Toughy' Morris
(RAC2004) - Simply, thank you!
Gil
'Damage' Tagar
(RAC2004) - Enjoyyed every second from this trip from the boat but more than
that from you, Liz & Matt, you are great.
I'll
never forget the glowing of Liz's smile :) and thank you Matt for your professional
way of sailing, we learnt a lot from you.
Hope
to see and sail again with both of you - sooner than later
Haim
'Autopilot' Amit
(RAC2004) - It was the safest, funniest, greatest adventure!!!
Matt & Liz - Many,
many, many thanks!!!
Gwen
& Stephen
(Saint-Tropez to Majorca) - We've had the best holiday EVER! Our sail from St
Tropez to Majorca was more fun that we could have ever imagined. We've visited
6 locations in 10 days and still manage to feel totally relaxed. Lizzie's ability
to cook-up an incredible array of yummy delights in the galley was beyond belief,
and Matt's horizontal manner meant even I managed to muster up the confidence
to walk on the foredeck and steer the boat! Thanks SO much to both of you for
your wonderful hospitality....we'll be back!
One word sums up our time onboard Disco........bowwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Loads of love Gwennie and Stephen.
Lou
& Aidy
(Saint-Tropez to Majorca)- We just wanted to say thank you so much for your
outstanding hospitality last week - we had a fantastic time, and you guys made
us feel very welcome. Gwen and Steve-o were great company as well - we felt
like we really 'lucked out'.
We would have had fun even without the sailing, but throw that into the mix,
and it made it a week to remember! Having said that, Lou still does not sound
hugely keen on an Atlantic crossing, I'll keep working on her.....!
Keep the emails coming, let us know where you're at, and I will make you feel
better by telling you how minging the weather is! Anyway, thank you both very
much indeed. We like the cut of your jib. Or gib. Or something.
Lots of love, Aidy and Lou.
Jules
(Les Voiles De Saint-Tropez) - Thanks Matt & Liz for a great week sailing.
I
learnt alot on the boat today and I'll definately be back for more - keep up
the good work and have fun -

back and looking forward to catching up in the UK for several drinks.

Tash
(Antigua Sailing Week 2004) - This is a quick note to say a huge thank you for
making last week sooooooooooo much fun. Despite being unceremoniously tipped
on the floor with my legs in the air and having my arms pinned behind my back
so … well those of you involved know why, I had an amazing week.
Thank
god for the cuts and bruises which I suspect will last longer than my tan…Again,
thank you sooooo much for an absolutely amazing week, one of my best
holiday yet.
As
if you need to ask... put me down for next year.
Spanker
(BVI 2004) - Thanks for the best 2-week party ever!
Amazing sailing,
food, music & company!
From
the best winch-grinding fish catching Spanker in the Caribbean!
I hope to
sail with you again before long.
Dirty
Dingers
(BVI March 2004) - "Arrr" (Shakers please!) A last minute decision
for 2 weeks sailing in the sun, What a great idea - with Matt & Liz Its
always good fun. I met them in the Soggy Dollar, waering my Disco T-shirt, Had
4 hours in a bar with sailors - no excuse not to flirt!
Day
3 - we headed out to Marina Cay, near BVI Tortolarrrr, Had a fab night out with
a singing pirate, then spagetti carbonararrrrrrr. I slapped on the green sun
cream, and a big floppy hat, looked like a cross between the green goddess and
Barbara Novac!
Then
racing in the regatta, we had some fantastic starts, A great crew on Disco,
with Alliance and Noss of Dart. The racing was fab - hoisting, grinding, packing,
tackin', But tiring as during the nights we only got 2 hours sleep in! A shame
the wind was weak, but we had amazing visability, It was like sailing on an
aquarium, and not at all like the sea.
The
next day racing was cancelled - but we didn't go far, Just across the water
to a wild floating bar. We jumped in Naked - to please Willy T, And then danced
alll the way home to Michael's Diana "Dirty".
Then
the sail back to StMartin was also a real treat, First we caught a barracuda
- but thats a fish we can't eat. Then a few hours later we took down the mail
sail, And caught a yellow dorado, saw 3 dolphins and even a humpback whale.
All in all, it was two weeks of bliss, So another huge THANK YOU to Mr &
Mrs Abbiss!! xx
Harry
(BVI2004) - Thanks for providing lovely places, people and races.
Harry x
PS Hope to
do it again soooon!
Saul
(BVI 2004) - One word: the best music since I was 14!!
DI

Fantastic,
thanks guys.

Jules
(BVI 2004) - Danke fur alles! It's been fabulous sailing with you guys. I'm
glad we discovered DISCO INFERNO and I hope to be back to pick up some silverwear
next time! In the meantime, keep up the great dance moves - we made the party
today at Willy T's and I'm sure you'll do this time and time again!!
Great teamwork
on the boat - very impressive (and awesome spinnaker!) See you in St Tropez???
PS I'm in
love with Julia because she took my fear of spinnakers away from me.
Part II I've
thoroughly enjoyed my 10 days on DISCO INFERNO and would like to say a BIG THANK
YOU! DISCO INFERNO: the best 5-star retaurant in the Caribbean! And what fabulous
cocktails - Espresso Martini in particular. I promise I will abstain from torturing
cats in future, but I am certain El Capitano was fine! Everyone knows that cats
can swim! See you soon, hopefully St. Tropez...

K
(GSF2004 & Cruise) - Thanks for letting me charter Disco.
I
think everyone really enjoyed the racing and the cruising.
Your
boat seems the ideal design in which to do both, and I admire the way you handle
it and look after your guests.
George
(GSF2004 & Cruise) - I was very impressed by the smooth efficiency with
which you ran your boat enabling me to relax knowing that I was in good safe
hands.
Disco
Inferno performed its role in the very different requirements for the racing
at Grenada and our cruise very well.
There's
no alternative to good sailing performance (& size) upwind in 25 to 30 knots
and Disco certainly has it. I also enjoyed the cuisine, thank you Liz, in spite
of my upset from the prize giving party.
Paul
G
