What better way to describe the Disco Experience than to get those who've been there tell you...

Ladybird (RAC2003 + Christmas) - A priviledge to sail with Matt and Lizzie, George and Mick + Disco Inferno. Top tips for both above and below the deck, all recorded in my "book".

Dream 2 (transatlantic crossing) and Dream 3 (riding down a beach) achieved - surpassed all expectations. No words can describe this experience: night watches, downwind, upwind, Top Gun, reaching and of course "gybeaholics anonymous!"

Firsts: big boat, transatlantic, trip on Disco, espresso Martinis, hot Christmas, whale spouts, flying fish, catching a fish, 10.5 knots.....but of course "when you've sailed the Atlantic" you'll know exactly what I mean - just make sure you do it with Matt & Lizzie. Dom & Norhty what can I say, top guys to sail with, miss my wake-up calls and bench pressing in the cockpit already.

Alex (Cowes Week, 2003) - Fantastic couple of days sailing with skipper and first mate who remain unperturbable without a flicker of worry whatever their charterers have just got up to! A great few days in the best surroundings and a great crew. Thanks A

Simon (Droopy) (Cowes Week, 2003) - Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Its going to be hard to better the last couple of days on the water for fun, technically its onwards & upwards. I think its Beer o'clock, I will be back v. soon!

Alex & Clive (Cowes Week, 2003) - Thank you for such a great couple of days & all your patience. Learnt loads & have definately become a junk food junkie & disco queen! Look forward to doing again.

Henrie (Cowes Week, 2003) - Thanks for a brilliant four days. You are so chilled - 3 people who knew what they were doing & the rest of us muppets! Not sure I would be so cool! Really got the bug again & will definately be on board the Disco again!

Lou (Cowes Week, 2003) - A great few days. A great intro to the sport. Luckily a few of the others knew what they were doing. Promise to get a few courses under my belt before returning. Cow Kid (Beneteau Cup, July 2003) - It has been possibly the best introduction to sailing I could have wished for. The crew were a great bunch of people and Lizzie & Matt geat hosts

Chris Barber (RTI) - Many thanks for the invitation, it was a privilege to amongst some high calibre sailors especially Matt, Lizzie, Bob and Scotty & Kevin. I would certainly love to be part of next years challenge & would promise to be there for the training.

Jane Talbot (Antigua to Cowes, 10th May - 3rd June 2003) - I made the decision to sail from Antigua to Cowes with Matt & Lizzie on Disco Inferno 2. Within 5 minutes of meeting them (& all of their lovely racing friends) during Race Week at English Harbour and turned down a place on a 'fast track yachtmaster course' to do so. Definately a great decision couldn't have wished for a nicer skipper/1st mate team. Always made time for us patient kind & fun - even if they didn't feel like it! On watch discussions ranged from places we'd all sailed around the world to spaceships! Lizzie's cooking was perfect, from fresh bread to cake cookies, pasta to meat pies & home caught fish! They even ate the bread I made! Fellow in Fliss (watch mate) & Eds - fellow Wimbledonian were great fun and entertaining too! I was never bored in the 23 days at sea - recommend a leg of the ARC to anyone considering it! Jane Talbot - future skipper? (Watch this space...!)

Other than some distinctly inappropriate nicknames, definately the best trip ever. Top company, top sailing and possibly the best room sevice...

Scotty & Fay (26th Jan, 2003) - Really, Really don't want to go home, have has a fantastic time (minus the 7 mossy bites on legs!) It was great to finally meet Matt & Liz, (Liz being the queen of food..)..now very fat! A beautiful boat, beautiful people, beautiful island mmmm could be paradise! A Big Thankyou to Matt & Liz !!

What can i say...Fay and I really had a fantastic time and it must be one of the best holidays I have ever had. It is not until you return home that you realise what an absolute paradise Antigua is. Even stepping out on deck at night in the tranquil surroundings to study the night sky was just unreal - its funny what you remember when you get back home! Fay also loved it and I really appreciate you making her feel so welcome.

Kevin & Charlie (19th Jan, 2003) - Fantastic boat - what a great escape from the US winter before we head for NY.

Had a great time with Matt, Lizzie "Barracuda Slayer", Richard & Fay. Loved the Green (as in Grass) Island and Harmony Hall.
